GeoWebSearch is for quick access to frequently used web searches.

Registry Settings

Most of the registry settings can be changed through the menu, though a few (in italics below) cannot.

Setting	Info
Active Search	The current search site.
Always Show Text Box	Should the text box be displayed or hidden when not in use?
Font Face	The name and size of a font. ie: Tahoma, 18.
Font Style	Standard; Bold; Italic, or Bold Italic.
Inset	Draw the plugin in the inset style.
Special Text	Marks the place in the web search strings to insert the search text.
Text Box Width	Size of the text entry box.
Web Browser	To use a web browser other than the system default, enter its' name here.

Adding Search Sites

Open your web brower and do a search at the site you wish to add. In the web browser's address bar, replace your search text with the 'Special Text' and copy the whole thing to the clipboard. Now right-click on GeoWebSearch and select 'New Search URL From Clipboard' from the menu. GeoWebSearch should automatically download the favicon for the web site and set this new seach site as the active one. You can also change the search's icon from the plugin menu.
