As the current lead developer of GeoShell, and a very long term user, I feel uniquely qualified to share some thoughts on how to optimize your computing experience by using GeoShell. I want to write a series of articles here that will help you with that, but I need to issue a warning first: I'm a geek.

Yep, that's right. The warning is that I'm a geek. This is important for you to know because some of the things that I'm going to suggest are going to be the sorts of tweaks that only rather technical users who spend inordinate amounts of time working and playing on their computers can appreciate. If you see a suggestion here that just doesn't seem worth the trouble, don't worry about it. Just move on, and say to yourself: "what a geek." I'm confident that some of the suggestions here will be exciting and worth your while.
