The GeoShell "TasksService" is used to provide information about running applications to various plugins and menus ... there are various settings related to this service in GeoShell's [User Interface Configuration] section
You can set these settings by navigating in regedit to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Geo\GeoShell\ShellUI\Tasks
 | In previous versions of GeoShell (before R4 11.9) these settings were in GeoShell\services\tasks, those settings are no longer used, and may be ignored or removed. |
